Gaucho Parrilla Argentina

146 Sixth St., The Strip District, Pittsburgh

Rated on Yelp’s 2015 list of the top 100 places to eat in the U.S., believe the hype. This place is for real. Gaucho features Argentinian-style wood-fired meats, sandwiches, saladsand other menu items. The secret to the taste and flavor? Meats are cooked at high heat with special salts, creating rich and smoky flavors. For the quality of the food, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. Give this place a try if you are in downtown Pittsburgh. You are in for a treat.

The Sports Grille at Cranberry

At first glance, you may think this is just your ordinary sports bar, but that's not the case. The food at The Sports Grille is unique, well thought out, and seasoned to perfection. The result is food that is full of flavor. The goal here is that every item on the menu is unique and is just as flavorful in its own way as the others. The Sports Grille has a diverse menu, which features chicken wings, ribs, sandwichesand unique, main course entrees such as the gluten-free filet mignon quesadilla or teriyaki-glazed salmon. The theme is a relaxing and invitingfamily atmosphere, which showcases sports memorabilia from local and professional sports teams and athletes.

Ginny’s Neighborhood Pizza Joint

Upon entry, you immediately feel welcome with the bright lighting, spaciousnessand finished, high-top wooden tables. It is one thing for a restaurant to say ituses the best ingredients, it is another to use the best that money can buy. At first glance of the pizza, you can tell each ingredient was chosen deliberatelyand bursting with flavor. The crust is thick, airy, buttery, yet extremely light. A must-try item is the "Meatatarian'' pizza, which takes a meat lovers pizza to a whole new level. Ginny’s also features creativehomemade pastas, salads, sandwichesand appetizers to share. The menu is easy to read, yet very descriptive, highlighting the variety of specialties.
